5th Grade Announcement:

Dear Fifth Grade Parent & Student:

Welcome Back! We are excited to begin a new school year, and are planning our Open House/Meet the Teacher event for Fifth Grade students on Thursday, August 26, at 4PM. Our Open House is a great opportunity for students to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and ask any questions you may have about the upcoming school year. We ask that only the student reporting to fifth grade attend with a parent in an effort to accommodate for appropriate social distancing. At 4:30PM, parents and students are welcome to take a self-guided tour of the building, say “hi” to our special area teachers, and visit the cafeteria to ask any questions about the upcoming school year. Representatives from CTC (Communities That Care), SHINE (Schools and Home In Education) and the Wayne County Public Library will be on hand with information on opportunities available to your student, too. Please note that all attendees will be required to wear a mask while visiting.

Additional information was included in the “Welcome Back” letter your child received from his/her homeroom teacher. Please do not hesitate to contact the Lakeside Office with any questions at 570-253-6820. Don’t forget~ the first day of school is Monday, August 30! See you soon!
